Just Say No to Word Verification!

I love to leave comments. But, lately I'm getting so frustrated because I will write a well thought out comment and BAM! the dreaded WORD VERIFICATION REJECTION! That's usually where the comment ends. Word verification is the number one comment killer in my book.

I've seen a ton of people mentioning it and so I made a button!!! Please feel free to grab it... a sort of a PSA.

If you really get spam then by all means word verification the crap out of your blog. I have never had a spam comment. Maybe it's because I'm not attracting as much traffic as others.

Goals & 3 New Pages!

I love creating. I love writing. I love sharing and meeting new friends.
I've been blogging along for 2 weeks now. I had incredible response from my post "Pieces of My Heart Typography". Lofty blogging ideas abound and I'm totally hooked.

I expected little to no response to my projects. However that's not the case. (THANK YOU ALL!!!) I needed to set some goals for myself and remember why I pushed publish on my first post. They also needed to fit with my life. I think everyone should ask themselves these questions.

Like why do make the doofiest lookin picture your profile picture? LOL. By the way, I'm standing in front of a picture of the forest pretending to run through it.

What are my blogging goals? How do they fit with my personal goals?

First, the word that defines my personal goals for 2011 is Polish. I've got so tied up in acquiring things. Things like a house, family, business etc. Yes I acquired all that, but it was half assed. My house is a mess. My kids are not learning responsibility. My business records are a wad of paper in a box. The list goes on. My goal is to polish and streamline everything going on.

Now, to my blogging goals. I want my blog to make me accountable to my personal goals. I only want to post or make something for me. I want to connect with like minded bloggers and make new friends.

With that being said, I've created 3 new pages. One lists my goals that I want to blog about. There's just a few right now, but I will be adding more.

The second is for my friends to showcase and inspire others!

Last is an idea. I hope it will grow into more, but it will depend on the response.
